It is with regret that we have to announce that John Bebbington passed way on Friday 23 October 2015, aged 82.

For many years John was the Secretary of Garforth Camera Club but found the transition to digital photography very difficult.

The new technology was not for John, so his devotion to the Club waned. However, as Secretary, he ran the Club single handed and did the job very well indeed. There was always a full and interesting programme of events planned and everything ran like clockwork.

Contrast that to the Club to-day, with a Committee of 7, doing the same job, which illustrates how special John was.

He will be sadly missed. The funeral will be held at Garforth church on Friday 13th November at 12.15.
